Red Ribbon Week and Teen Summit: Showing Up for Students
Every year, we get to work with amazing school teams and speakers who share one goal, helping students stay off drugs. Here’s why we keep coming back.

A week full of people who care
One of my favorite parts of Red Ribbon Week is working with amazing people who care about students and their future.
This year, we visited Gentry High School, Gentry Middle School, George Jr. High and Helen Tyson Middle School. We were also part of Teen Summit and the RAAD Summit gatherings in Huntsville and Berryville. Every school and gathering had its own feel, and we were grateful to bring music and energy to each one.
The school teams put a lot of thought into these events. We love being one part of the group helping students stay engaged and making the day memorable.

Speakers with a message that matters
Ray Lozano spoke at all of the Red Ribbon events and at Teen Summit. He brings an important message directly to students, and we were glad to work alongside him throughout the week.
At Teen Summit, we also heard from JD ‘Ice Man’ Anderson and Ray Reynosa. We appreciate each of them taking the time to speak with students and be part of a day focused on their choices and their future.
The reason we keep showing up
The point of Red Ribbon Week and Teen Summit is clear: help kids stay off drugs. These events give schools, speakers and communities time to talk with students about choices that can affect their health and future.
Music and energy help bring everyone into the room. The message is what matters most. When students hear it from people who care and have adults around them who are willing to keep the conversation going, they have support as they make those choices.
We have been part of Red Ribbon Week every year, and we are grateful for the people who keep inviting us back. Thank you to the teams at Gentry High, Gentry Middle, George Jr. High and Helen Tyson Middle, and everyone who made Teen Summit happen. And thank you to Ray Lozano, JD ‘Ice Man’ Anderson and Ray Reynosa for sharing your time and message with students.
It’s all about the experience. It’s all about giving back.
